China-Singapore (Chongqing) Connectivity Initiative Financial Summit (abbreviated as “CCI-FS”) is one of the five flagship projects under the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity (CCI). CCI-FS is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, PRC (MOFCOM); People’s Bank of China (PBOC); China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC); China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC); State Administration of Foreign Exchange, PRC (SAFE); Ministry of Trade & Industry, Singapore (MTI); Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS); and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. It has been successfully held for four consecutive editions and is becoming an important platform for exchanges and cooperation among the financial communities of Western China and ASEAN countries, a crucial channel for the opening-up in the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-Hub Mega-Region, and a signature event of Chongqing’s financial opening-up and development.

　　The theme of the 5th CCI-FS is “Charting a New Path for Financial Center Development, Creating New Impetus for Financial Opening-up”. There will be the Opening Ceremony & Summit, panel sessions, and specialized events, focusing on hot topics like financial services for the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC), FinTech, green finance, and capital market. The 5th CCI-FS will be a premium platform to explore new concepts, pathways, and measures for China-ASEAN financial cooperation and development and facilitate the deepening of China-ASEAN financial cooperation. In this connection, we will jointly scale new heights for financial opening-up underpinned by the connectivity between Chongqing and Singapore and between Western China and ASEAN countries.
